The Airport Approach to Hospital Safety

Some hospitals have taken to screening individuals as they enter specific departments, like Emergency, Intensive Care, or Trauma.  Placing security screening stations with metal detectors and agents who can check belongings and wand the individuals as they enter these departments can be a deterrent to malicious activity.  The convenience cost for doing so, as always, is at issue.  What do you think?  Click on the picture for additional information on the subject, and feel free to leave a comment to express your opinion on the subject.
